Republicans Argument: President Trump's Impeachment is Illegitimate, He Broke no Law ...Oops GAO Says he Did!

Joining  the never ending litany of disproved defense theories against President Trumps impeachment, the bromide that the President broke no law can now be added to the list of over 16,000* lies the President has told since taking office.
On January 16, 2020 the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office or GAO released its legal opinion that the President in fact broke the law and his oath of office in withholding aid to the Ukraine.  As a public service I reprint the opinion in its entirety below.
