Go cruising with Plainsense in his Boattail Riv. Along the way we will discuss what's on our mind while drinking a craft beer, smoking a fine cigar and only listening to good music. So hop in and let's go! I only ask that you throw in a little gas money.

Farewell to a St. Paul Landmark The Prom Ballrom's Final Show April 17, 1987
Perhaps the most iconic Minnesota music venue of my parent's generation and where my parents first met on a blind date in 1947 set up by their friends Curt and Glendore Berg. Forty years later the Prom closed their doors but not before one final blow out featuring special guest Cab Calloway. One of my friends played the gig and I always admired his copy of the concert poster, example above, which was sold at the show and given to the performers as a keepsake.
